  • Gingivitis :

Gingivitis is an inflammation of the gums which become red and swollen. Although painless, gingivitis causes bleeding when brushing teeth.

Gingivitis is due to an accumulation of dental plaque and tartar. Removing tartar and good oral hygiene can solve the problem. If not treated, early stage gingivitis may develop into a more severe form.

Gum disease attacks the tissues which support the tooth. This is a key cause of teeth loss in adults over the age of 35.
